We are holding an Open Day at Carsington Water in support of the England Ladies Fly Fishing team on Sunday 3rd August.
There will be Fly tying demonstrations and Casting Clinics as well as an entomology display by Derby County Angling Club. There will also be a casting competition as well as a fishing competition.
The Fishing competition is an individual competition open to anybody. The entry fee is £45.00 all in and there is a great prize structure with prizes all the way down to 10th place. All proceeds will go to the England Ladies Team so please show your support and come and enter the competition.
- The competition will have prizes down to 10th place.
- 1st prize is £100 and a rod
- 2nd is £50.00 and a reel
- 3rd is £25.00 and a fly line.
- The competition is £45.00 to enter all in.
- The competition will be fished from drifting boats to fishery rules. A full brief will be given on the day.
- All proceeds from the day will go to help support the England Ladies Fly Fishing Team.
