We will be holding our Open Day with the England Ladies Team here at Carsington Water on Sunday August 3rd. It will be held on the Little Buds area between the Visitor Centre and the Watersports Building. There will be fly tying demonstrations, Casting clinics/ tuition and casting demonstrations, an entomology display by Derby County Angling Club as well as a casting competition. The fishery staff will be on hand to answer any questions as well as members of the Carsington Fly fisher who can share there intimate knowledge of the water with you.
There will also be an open fishing competition on the day. There will be prizes down to 10th place in the competition and all proceeds from the day will go to help support the Ladies Team.
