Ranger's review:

Bitter cold North Easterly winds kept angler numbers down over the opening weekend.
Following strong to gale force West winds the previous week, anglers were faced with the challenge of cloudy water conditions. Both ends of the Dam Wall were the best locations, and the top method was ledgered maggot combined with a swim feeder. This method  produced a full 12 fish limit for Middlesbrough angler Tom Fitzpatrick and his son, who fished the East End of the Dam Wall. With an improvement in the weather and a further
stocking this week of 1000 Rainbows, catch returns for the Easter weekend should
improve dramatically.

Best catch:    T. Fitzpatrick & son - 12 Fish limit

Best flies:

Best baits:    Maggot with Swim feeder

Best areas:    Both ends of the Dam Wall
