Ranger's review:
Hury continues to set the standard with sport often fast and furious. A week of changeable conditions has failed to put the fish off the feed with floating lines and small dark lures or black palmered wets consistently bringing fish to the net. The addition of a small gold bead on the fly seems to give a more desirable action. Fish have been taken from the lodge end right up to the top end proving they are well spread out and the roving angler will eventually find the fish.
Best flies: Mini Black Fritz or Dawson's Olive with Gold Heads. Bibio & Kate McLaren
Best areas: Dam End, Scoon Bank & How Gill Point
