Ranger's review:
Easter saw atrocious weather conditions with heavy snow showers causing the fishery to be closed on the Saturday. However, those hardy souls who braved the elements on the Sunday returned a rod average of nearly five fish per angler. Ledgered baits have been the order of the day with Spring Green Powerbait the choice of the week. Not surprisingly, fly anglers have been scarce on the ground and with fish lying deep. However, sinking lines with Boobies have taken occasional fish.
Best flies: Orange or Black Fritz Booby, Cat's Whisker.
Best baits: Ledgered Spring Green Powerbait or maggot.
Best areas: Anywhere around the Dam end.
