Ranger's review:
George Wind had one of the best weeks fishing of his life, taking 24 fish over the week including 2 fish at 8lb. These were taken on the fly using the trusty Black Fritz, a hot favourite at the minute. The reservoir, which overflowed last week for the first time in three years, is fishing the best it has for years and with a rod average over 4 fish per angler, the figures speak for themselves!

Billy Glasgow also had an excellent week on the bait taking a fine 12lb 8oz fish on Murray's' Point using Powerbait. The fish are now nearer the surface and the fly anglers can expect to take fish on the dries and muddlers. The bait anglers are finding the fish surrendering to ledger fished Powerbait, with at least 3 foot from the bait to the weight. Look out for the Tiger trout which was stocked on Friday the 2nd of May which has a bounty on its head for the lucky captor.
Best flies: Dawson's Olive, Black Fritz, Cat's Whisker.
Best baits: Powerbait worm cocktail.
Best areas: Bait anglers - South side next to stream.
Fly anglers - The Meadow.
