Ranger's review:
Although the weather has been poor the angling continues to be good. Anglers who are willing to roam are finding the fish shoaled up. Once these shoals are found the angler can expect to catch fish frequently. Many catch limits have been taken using this roaming tactic. Fly anglers are having success with the Black Fritz on an intermediate line with Paul Dunn catching 8 fish for 18lb using this method. Bait anglers are finding fish shoaled up on the south shore next to the stream as the fish enjoy the fresh water from the nearby stream. Powerbait Eggs tipped with worm is still proving the prime bait.
Best flies: Dawson's Olive, Black Fritz, Cat's Whisker
Best baits: Powerbait worm cocktail
Best areas: South shore next to the stream on bait Cronkley Bay on fly
