Ranger's review:
A number of big fish have again been landed during the week with Les Broxon from Tanfield taking the fish of the week at 12lb 8oz. This was lured by a Toby next to the second fence, a popular spot for these big fish. Fly anglers are finding some excellent rises of fish during late afternoon and into the evening. More traditional techniques are prevailing with dry flies and small black wets the most popular. The Meadow continues to fish the best with this area holding a lot of fish as it offers shelter from the wind.
Bait anglers are continuing to catch well at the second fence with ledgered Powerbait with a long trace, especially when windy. There are currently 4 Tiger trout residing in the reservoir, each worth £200 with more to be stocked in the near future.
Best flies: Black Spider, Nymphs, Bibio, Cormorant, Cat's Whisker
Best baits: Powerbait worm cocktail
Best areas: Between the two fences for bait anglers
