TOTAL FISH TAKEN TO DATE 47,705
Weather: Very unsettled week with some fresh winds, plenty of rain and much cooler.
Water: The high water levels remain at the main lakes though Barrows are well down at present. Temperature at the surface has fallen to 15°C.
Litton: Both lakes still fishing very well. Floating lines with static or very
slowly fished nymphs working well on the lower lake. An intermediate with a gold head also well worth trying especially around the dam on upper.
This weeks catch:
44 trout taken by 16 rods, average catch 2.8 per rod
Total catch to date:
47,165 trout taken by 14,555 rods, an average catch of 3.2 per rod.
