Weather:
At last we have some settled, gentle weather! A mild week of mainly cloud with some light rain. Light winds from the west and east and occasionally – some sunshine. Cooler mornings and evenings.
Water:
The blue/green algae at Chew is snow clearing and has gone from Barrow 1 & 2. Blagdon remains mainly clear. All lakes are very full. The surface temperature is still 15°C.
Litton:
Both lakes now fishing very well. Few fish moving but any small nymphs, lures and goldheads will produce fish.
Catch:
30 trout taken by 10 rods, average catch 3.0 per rod
Total catch to date:
44,909 trout taken by 13,543 rods, an average catch of 3.3 per rod.
