Weekly results week ending - 23rd May
123 anglers caught 595 fish rod average 4.8 The good rod average maintained despite the north east wind sticking with us. Bright and breezy afternoons continue to keep the fish down and weighted buzzers fished on floaters from the black pipe to the north east corner working best. Plenty of fish down in the wind but on most days proving hard to reach. Boat sport generally better than the bank as the fish tend to be shoaling 25 to 50 yards out. Trevor Ward top individual catch.....again..... with 25 fish taken on his own buzzer patterns fished deep from a boat. Evening rises a bit hit and miss the last few days as the strong, cool wind has not let up much going in to dark - however sport does definitely hot up during the last couple of hours. Several good rainbows again, best 6Ib's to Dave Holroyd from Wrawby taken on a buzzer
