Report to Saturday 19th April.
Averaging around 3.5 again and a range of patterns catching. Certainly
the trout are starting to take a big interest in buzzers again after
what seems to have been a long winter on lures. The Wicked White and the
Jubilee Buzzer - black with a gold head are both doing really well for
some anglers. For others the Cat's Whisker and Dawson's Olive have been
the patterns of the week. Humungus and Zonkers also still catching.
Five doubles this week:

Andrew Greener from Annfield Plain landed the biggest at 19lb 12oz.
Andrew caught that on a Cat's Whisker which works really well for him
here. He had a 15lb 9oz here last week on the same pattern. He's
continuing a good run - in March he took a 10lb 12oz and last November a
19lb 6oz though they were caught on Olive Zonkers - another pattern
which works well for him.

Mr R Stainthorp from Barton near Darlington landed a 15lb 1oz this week
on a Dawson's Olive.

Michael Watson from Newcastle took a 13lb 10oz on a
White Fritz.

Gordon Swain landed a 12lb 14oz on a Damsel and finally

Ryan Barron from Coxhoe took a 10lb 12oz on a Cat's Whisker.
