92 anglers caught 523 fish rod average 5.7
Lots of fish on or near the surface with buzzer, nymph and even dry fly sport excellent up until Wednesday. Easterly winds arrived knocking several degrees off temperatures. Fish have continued to feed very well though and luckily have remained on the upwind bank around the black pipe and north east corner areas.
Diawl Bachs, epoxy buzzers, hare's ear nymphs and small Montanas have been the best fished within the top few feet of water.
Quite a few fish 3Ib + again this week with the best at 5Ib going to Hull angler Robin Goldthorpe on a buzzer. More fish to 6Ib stocked next week.
Just one day to note this coming week, the SCIERRA pairs boat competition is being held on Thursday 24th and therefore there will be no boat availability for pleasure anglers on that day.
