A superb couple of weeks at Elinor with the fish going buzzer crazy!  >From mid morning onwards the trout have been gorging themselves on small black or olive buzzers. Straight line nymphing or under a bung between 2- 5 foot with size 14 immitations have been the best methods.
Some pond olives are also hatching so worth trying a size 12 scruffy hares ear or olive nymph.
A few fish are showing on the surface when the wind drops. Olive cdc or greenwells have been the best drys.
Boat or bank fishing is equally productive. Evening rises should start anytime.
If you have been waiting for the proper fishing to start, Elinor is worth a visit now!
