Ellerdine w/e 06/04/08
An excellent couple of weeks with most anglers catching there limits with over 30 double figure fish being caught.Father and Son Mal and Mark Harrison returned 46 fish between them using a variety of lures mainly on the meadow lake, with mark having the largest fish at 10lb. Vic Vaughan Cannock returned some of the biggest fish of the week with 2 browns topping the scales at 16lb and 14lb both caught on nymphs.9 year old Taylor Davies Chirbury Had 6 fish which included a Rainbow of 14lb 10oz and a Brown of 8lb 5oz, His Dad John Returned 16 all on the Welsh Witch.Any angler who has never caught a double figure Brown Ellerdine could be the place with around 40 being caught over 8 lb in the last 10 days. |
