Jubilee Report to 5th April 2008.
Fishing well though the anglers are having to work hard at it. Rod
average 3.9 and it might have been better but last Sunday was a very
hard days fishing. When there has been some warmth the trout have taken Black Buzzer or
patterns such as a Snatcher quite high up in the water. The warm spells
haven't lasted long though and the trout have been driven back to the
usual winter patterns - the Zonker & Cat's Whisker.
One or two nice doubles this week.
James Stephenson from Great Ayton took the biggest - a very bonny trout
of 17lb 2oz. He caught that on an Olive Zonker.

Stephen Greathead from Great Lumley landed a 14lb 6oz on a Zonker.

T Chrisp from Ashington landed a 13lb rainbow on a Yellow Zonker and finally Paul Moore from Hetton le Hole took a 10lb 8oz on an Olive Zonker.
Thankyou,
Dave & Sandra
