Anglers at Ellerdine have been treated to some fantastic fishing over the last few weeks.
Plenty of big fish have been caught with Rainbows upto 16lb and browns upto 14lb  being returned,The average size fish over the hole of the fishery has been a respectable 3lb 12oz.
Those anglers finding the right tactics have returned over 20 fish a session for a rod average of around 7 fish per angler.

Best methods have been floating line with Sunburst blob on the point with 2 cruncher style nymphs around 5ft apart behind using a slow roly poly retrieve the fish will follow the blob then take the nymphs right in the margin.

Cranymoor Ellerdine's BIG FISH lake has seen most action on a blood worm style patterns or a Black Rubber Leg Daddy .
