Weekly results week ending - 7th March

Well what a week......the weather has been dominated by unrelenting strong, mainly westerly, winds with one morning of scattered snow showers and another of minus five frost thrown in!

Far from ideal weather conditions for fishing reflected in the returns. The majority of fish are downwind and therefore pretty much out of reach. A few fish have been showing around valve tower and in the north west corner and are very close in, so casting along the bank with a floater or intermediate and goldhead lures is a good bet.

Best rainbow of the week goes to Mr.Lowe from Sheffield at 5Ib 8oz.

I've just released news of a bank match to be held at Toft on June 7th. The match has been kindly sponsored by Fire Containment Ltd and carries a guaranteed 1st prize of £1,000 cash! There will be further cash prizes and Andy Hutson from The Lincolnshire Shop has generously donated tackle prizes.
