A fantastic turnout of anglers over the opening weekend. Above average temperatures meant the fish were in a feeding mood around most of the lake.
The usual early season spots such as the Dam and Boat bay produced well. However anglers who ventured further up the lake were rewarded with plenty of sport especially in the East arm ,Shallow bay and Lagoon.

Most anglers used lures on a floater or slow intermediate but nymphs such as bloodworm, black buzzer and diawl bach also worked well.

There is no need for a boat at the moment as most of the fish are within 20 yards of the bank.
