Sport much better this week with settled and quieter weather. Sharp, frosty mornings meant sport was slow to start but picked up late morning and fished right through to dark.
Boobies have been very effective this week when fish have been laid up deep, fished in the traditional way on fast sink lines and just 3 or 4 feet leaders.
Dawson's Olive and large damsel 'nymphs' have been good either fished on intermediates or floaters. Plenty of fish around the tower - Mr.Lowe and Mr.Thorpe caught 41 fish yesterday on slow sink lines and olive Zonkers from a boat 20 yards off the tower.
Best bank area has been the North East corner although fish shoaling and moving frequently so if you're not on the fish, give it 20 minutes and then try a different spot.
Best fish this week went to Gary Moore from Hucknall, Notts who took his 6 on a floating line and damsel nymphs including the rainbow of 6Ib 4oz.
