Fishery owner Phil Dixon is delighted to unveil his plans for his 3rd season which will open at 7.00am on Saturday 1st March.

The installation of fish rearing cages last year means that Phil will be stocking with 25,000 fish in 2008 - the highest stock density per acre of any UK reservoir. Quality brown trout will remain a feature at Foremark, and last year they were caught up to 7lb 10ozs.

The main investment in the close season has been an entirely new stock of 2008 Mercury 4 stroke engines. There are kinder to the environment, smoother running and easier to start. Boat and season ticket prices are pegged for 2008, with all fishing tickets going up by only £1.

Boat bookings are now being taken for opening day. For those who enjoy the competitive element, a Scierra Pairs heat is being held again in 2008, together with a programme of sponsored open matches.
