*JUBILEE REPORT*

Excellent weeks fishing again mainly to black - zonkers doing especially
well - and also to Cat's Whiskers. With quite a lot of frost about,
trout have generally been at a 'deep' intermediate depth.
We have remained clear of ice, touch wood, and with an average of over 4
per rod the fishing has generally been excellent.

Quite a few doubles out. Largest was 14lb 10oz, caught by Mr Geoff Curry
from Sherburn Hill on the Ace of Spades. Terry Ross from Willington had
a 14lb 3oz on a Cat's Whisker. Paul Willett from Witton le Wear landed a
13lb 13oz on a Black Fritz. Dennis Woods from Middlesbrough tempted a
13lb 12oz on a White Zonker and finally John Armstrong from Ryton took a
12lb 7oz on a Yellow Tadpole.

Anglers are advised to phone to check conditions before setting out if
they are in any doubt that the lakes might be frozen. Our web site and
answerphone are updated at about 7.30a.m. each morning.

Please remember we are open as usual over the holidays but in January we
are closed from the 7th to the 30th inclusive of those dates.
All the best for Christmas & the New Year
Thankyou,
Dave & Sandra
