A good turn out of 17 anglers for the Toft Newton fur & feather match yesterday with a terrible day forecast.
 
The severe gales and rain fortunately never showed and it turned out a reasonable day with variable winds and only light showers.
 
68 fish were caught and with 10 prizes here are the results...

 
1. John Littler from Huthwaite 10 fish for 19Ib 8oz including a brace of well mended rainbows weighing 4Ib and 3Ib 8oz - all taken on cat's whiskers on an intermediate line.
