43 rods caught 305 fish for a rod average of 7.09!
 
The rod average just keeps going higher ! A mixed week weather wise with some very cold northerly winds and frosty nights BUT the fishing was unhindered by the conditions. On milder afternoons a few fish near the surface still with Diawl Bachs and Black Pennells taking fish. Intermediate and slow sink lines with cat's whiskers, blobs and boobies proving effective when the fish are down.
Debi Phillips from Bassingham near Lincoln took the best rainbow this week with a fish of 6Ib 2oz, she fished in the awful wet conditions last weekend and the fish was well deserved ! (photo attached)
Still a good amount of 3Ib+ fish showing up, with the increased stocking this season beginning to pay dividends.
Martin Rowson from Wrawby had the best days sport, managing 27 fish bank fishing. He caught on a variety of patterns fished on a floating line and took fish where ever he fished, with the fish being well spread out.
