Fishing report for week ended 18/11/2007.
Generally a pretty good weeks fishing. Anglers averaged 3.8 per rod in conditions that weren't always great. Bit chilly on the fingers this week!
Sometimes it was very slow going, but other times if you had the right pattern you couldn't go wrong. The problem has been finding the right pattern. Black Bloodworms and the Black Vibrating Daddy have done well.
The Olive or Black Zonker or Humungus have caught. But anglers have also caught on a Black Buzzer (Dave Cardwell from Darlington had 6 to it in a couple of hours on Sunday afternoon). Small Olive Damsels have also been worth a try. Trout have generally been deeper due to the cold winds.

Paul Hull.
We've had some good doubles out again this week. Paul Hull from Evenwood caught a 20lb 13oz on Phil Totten's Sexy Black Bloodworm (black flexifloss on a red hook). He might have to buy Phil a drink for that one!
Mr R Noble from Prudhoe also landed a 20lb 1oz on a Black Humungus.

Peter Forster.
Peter Forster from Newcastle landed a 16lb 13oz on a Black Daddy. Paul Moore caught his 15lb 3oz on a Black Bloodworm (sexy or not - I'm not sure)! Finally Tony Brunton from Eaglescliffe tempted his 11lb 8oz rainbow on a Black Daddy.
As you can see black patterns are still being very successful.
Thankyou,
Dave & Sandra
