Toft Newton Fishery Report Week Ending 16.11.07.

What a week !! The frosty nights and cold days may well have deterred anglers this week but certainly not the fish. Fished well every day with fish being well spread out. Some anglers still catching on Diawl Bach's and floating lines or midge tips with the majority fishing intermediate lines and small white lures.

Lots of really good catches on catch & release with the best of the week being Matt Powell from Lincoln who caught 30 fish mostly on a sparkly white lure fished a few feet down near the boat ramp.

Plenty of rainbows 3Ib+ with the best at 5Ib to Les Johnson from Grimethorpe
