                    No wonder he looks pleased, a 12lbs and a 17lbs 4oz fish .

Two specimen doubles came out of Witton this weekend both by the quiet man
MrTerry Ross from Williington, securing both fish at 12lbs and another at
17lbs 4ozs. These fish fell to a Lime Green Cat's Whisker. During the
playing out process, an even bigger specimen cruised along side the hooked
fish until the 17lbder was netted in the margins.

A further double at 14lbs fell to Mr Harry Haughton from Pelton completing
his limit with fish of
9lbs 4oz, and 2lbs 8oz, a nice bag to complete any anglers day out.

Mr Blyth Palmer from South Shields looking for a double , landed two nice
fish at 8lbs 8oz and 2lbs 12oz, both on a Cat's Whisker.

A complete mix of flies this week ,with Black Buzzer, CDC, and GRHE, being
the order of the day in the South Lake. In the other two lakes Damsels, Foam
Bodied Daddies, and Muddlers are being chased ans splashed at. Lures at the
moment are the ever popular, Black and Yellow Zonkers, Black and Green,
Yellow and White Fritz Cat's Whisker, not everyones choice but they are
catching big fish.

Sporting Permit anglers steadily returning fish, with Ryan Barron from
Coxhoe returning 11 fish on a Grey Zonker one of which was a 8lb Tiger
cross. This fish must be returned due to its unique markings. Photograph
will be shown on ukflyfisher possibly at a later date.

Mr John Bean from Brandon has consistently scored, and  returned 7 fish this
week , best to 14lbs.
Come on Bernie he is leaving you behind.
