Thornton Fishing report week ending 28/10/07
With only three weeks left of our 2007 season were still waiting for the trout to start chasing the fry in the margins. At the moment bank anglers are struggling as the trout remain 40 yards off the bank.
There continues to be no real pattern to the fishing Martin Brown caught 7 on a size 8 black buzzer in front of the wood, Adrian Vaughan caught his 7 on a booby, T. Hutchinson caught his 6 on a damsel & cats whisker while Alex Christodloue caught his 5 on a small olive spider.
No one part of the reservoir is producing better than another the anglers who are catching are the ones who are prepared to keep on the move until they come across the fish.
With the clock going back an hour the most productive time to fish will be the period from 10.00am – 4pm what should be the warmer part of the day.
Full Day Boats 8.30am – 5.00pm
Part Day Boats 8.30am – 12.30pm / 12.30pm – 5.00pm
