The River was running at about 5" above summer level and the clarity is good.

I've had reports of fish caught last week, but nothing confirmed. 3 Salmon caught and returned near the airport, a small fish caught and returned at the waterfall and another double figure fish hooked and lost. There have also been reports of fish caught out of the clubs water.

Today brings the last of the 5m tides, so we're back to hoping for some rain to encourage the fish into the system.

There were a few Sea Trout showing around beat 1 yesterday and with the clarity being good I'd recommend fishing the fly.
