Suprisingly, the water level has not dropped that much since yesterday. I'd say that it is running about 7 or 8 inches above summer level.
Water clarity is perfect for both spinning and fly.
Well, I have just had a report of another salmon being caught. Just under 7 pounds. This is the second salmon reported for this season.
Another angler managed a nice 12 inch brown trout.
Very good news, which indicates that salmon should be well spread along the river. Beat 2 should fish well at the moment. With nice level and clarity, a perfect condition for fishing the fly!
Good luck to all!
