Report for week ended 8th September 2007
Rod Average 2.2
Not easy this week - and no doubles - almost unheard of at Jubilee!
Anglers who have done well one day have come again to find that conditions have changed and the pattern they've done well with one day aren't catching the next. Fishing has generally been better early before the real heat of the day but the water is still warm.
Overall buzzers, variations on the Cormorant - black with an orange head, and CDC Emergers have done the best though trout have also been caught on Orange Nomads, Dawsons & Zonkers etc. The Grayling Gnat has been quite effective and in general palmered patterns like it seem to work well here - probably causing just that bit more disturbance.
