Bit of a change from last weeks report when the buzzers really were THE pattern.
From Sunday the Ugly Beasts seemed to take over from the buzzers and the fishing became more awkward. Orange Nomads, Zonkers & Dawsons all catching. In between times and especially as I write this report, the buzzers have been gaining ground & again especially the Wicked White (all black with white cheeks
image attached but the quality is poor - sorry).
There have been excellent rises all week on the top lake - but the little dears have been very hard to catch up there - a floating fry or similar stripped back on a long leader has sometimes worked or a CDC - but just at a certain (and variable) depth.
No-one said it was easy!
