Mervin White from Bilsthorpe with rainbows to 3lbs 10oz taken on buzzers fished static in the north west corner of the reservior.

85 rods caught 317 for a rod average of 3.7
After a difficult start to the week with bright & sunny conditions, fishing improved dramatically with more unsettled weather returning early in the week. Fish well up so floating lines best with Diawl Bachs being the clear favourite. Orange & olive Shipman's buzzers very good as well as dry sedges & sedge pupae patterns. Best bank catch this week to John Evans from Kirkby-in-Ashfield who caught 21 fish mostly on Diawl Bachs
and took the best rainbow of the week at 4Ib 4oz.
Fishing well right thorugh the day when the weather is right & still good late sport on warmer evenings but cooler conditions slow things a little. Boats best drifting with plenty of fish out over deeper water.
