A much better week thank goodness, spoiled only by a couple of days of heavy rain. Sport very good even on brighter days. Best rainbow 5Ib 1oz to Mark Smith from Lincoln on a nymph and anglers returning a good number of fish 3Ib +.( The stocked doubles have yet to turn up!) Catch & release anglers doing well with several catching 10+ - best catch 17 fish to Dave Stanford from Mansfield fishing a variety of Diawl Bach & buzzer patterns on a floating line in the North West corner. Fish are still holding well along the west bank around to the north east corner. Buzzer & nymph patterns best on floating lines. Lots of buzzers & sedges coming off on warmer evenings. Boats fishing well drifting loch style with traditional wets including Dunkeld, Soldier palmer and Silver Invicta.
New regime slowly 'getting there' now 6 weeks in & 7 stockings further on with an estimated increased head of fresh stock fish of 1500+.
