72 rods caught 253 fish for a rod average of 3.51
Plenty of fish 2Ib+ best rainbow 3Ib 6oz to John Golland from Horncastle on a Kingfisher butcher fished on top near the tower. A good fishing week with dull & breezy conditions, although a little wet at times! Most anglers sticking to upwind banks and fishing floating lines and a variety of buzzers & nymphs. Damsels & sedges coming off in the afternoons & evenings with good rises on warmer days late on. Plenty of fish close in down in the wind around black pipe and North West corner for more experienced anglers. Peter Smitham is the winner for the last month picked at random out of anglers signing up to Tofts results emails & texts - he wins a 6 fish ticket. Keep signing up, another winner next month!
