News just in from Colin Douglas, fishery manager of Witton Castle Lakes, Witton Le Wear , County Durham of a new fishery record.

This superb Rainbow, pulling down the scales to an unbelievable 21 lbs was caught by lucky angler Alan Kitto.

Colin told ukflyfisher " I don't expect the record to last as there are many other fish, much larger swimming about in the complex... watch this space......
