LOCH FITTY

MAIN LOCH

The main loch continues to produce some excellent bags, mainly to small traditionals such as Kate McLaren, Silver Invicta, Alexandria & Clan Chief, with various Cormorants & Diawl Bach’s also doing well.

Amongst the best returns this week were Royal British Legion AC 7 boats 37 fish for 83lb, Greg Davie had 8 fish for 17lb 8oz, Mr Wright 8 fish for 15lb, Mr Grant 5 fish for 12lb, Bill Ramage from Alloa had 5 fish weighing 11lb, Mr Sharp from Kelty had 10 fish for 23lb 8oz, Mr Mackenzie landed 6 fish for 15lb 8oz, Scottish Rotarians 44 fish for 96lb 4oz, Dave Murdoch & Alex Tervit had 6 fish for 15lb 4oz, Dunfermline AC for their 2 boats had 12 fish for 29lb 4oz & Mr Clark from Kinross had 9 fish weighing 19lb

Best Flies Bibio, Kate Mclaren, Alexandria, Silver Invicta, Damsels & Cormorants,

Best Areas Stoney Bank, Car Park Shore, Swan Mussel Bay & Fitty Deeps,

Best Lines Floaters & Intermediates

 

TEAL BAY

Teal Bay has been offering great sport this week with many fish freely rising to the various buzzers & terrestrials hatching with the warmer weather. Some of the best catches this week were Mr Dickson & son landed 6 fish weighing 25lb on a Montana & an Appetiser, Mike Lafferty from Dunfermline had 3 fish for 7lb 8oz all on a Cats Whisker & Dave Pratt also from Dunfermline landed 3 nice fish weighing 7lb 8oz all tempted by the Buzzers.

LODGE BAY

Good sport with the Roach to Casters & Single Maggot this week. Some nice Carp have also been landed up to 15lb mainly tempted by Floating Dog Biscuits

 

Anglers will only be allowed onto the Coarse Pond if they have the appropriate tackle ie: unhooking mats etc.

 

ACADEMY BAY (Bait Only)

Still great sport to Power Bait & Maggots with the Worms working on the odd day, amongst the best catches of the week were

Mr Herd from Fife with 8 fish for 19lb 8oz, Mr Mackenzie from Glenrothes had 9 fish for 18lb Best Fish of the week was C. Macaulay Jnr who landed a nice fish of 4lb 12oz on Power Bait
