Colwick Park trout fishery near Nottingham continues to fish well with 505 fish caught for the week with 139 fish returned to the water.

This gives a rod average per angler of 3.6 fish, keeping up the splendid sport from this 57 acre fishery.

Best flies at the moment are black buzzers and diawl bachs with black and green lures taking fish deeper down in the area known as Brownie Deeps at the top of the lake.
