A very good week for fishing at Bewl, with a rod average of 4.81 and the average weight of fish caught 2lb.
The preferred method has been orange boobies on a fast sinking line or a midge tip, but there has also been a late afternoon rise with fish being caught nearer the surface.
Best places for boats have been Dunsters, Seven Pound Creek, Chingley and the Main Bowl where the fish are spread over the whole area.
Bank anglers have caught well at Ferry Point, Overies and Chingley.
Popular flies were boobies, tadpoles, cat's whiskers,damsels and vivas.
The largest fish was a rainbow weighung 4lb13oz rainbow caught by F.Dewar froma boat near Bramble Bay.
