A fantastic last few weeks with anglers now catching over 270 doubles this year already.

Anglers have been catching on all methods but over the last week more fish have now started to fall to buzzers and nymph patterns with prolific buzzer hatches the last few days.

Today there were even 2 Salmon caught (5lb and 12lb 10oz)these fish were stocked nearly 12 months ago. it has been over 4 months since the last one was caught!

Rainbows to 19lb have been caught using sparse buzzer patterns or cruncher style nymphs fished on long leaders. fish the windward banks for the best results.

Still plenty of Browns being returned with the largest at just over the 15lb mark,  Iain Barrs black and green Tanskis have  accounted for 75% of the Browns the last few weeks.  fish them on a quick retrieve near the reeds then just hold on!!!

The next few weeks Hoppers, Beetles, and Hawthorne flies will be the killing patterns.

Rod average around 6 fish per angler.
