As I write this report the level of the reservoir is the highest I've seen it in three winters as yet more heavy rain falling on already sodden ground has poured into the reservoir. I guess we should after all this rain have more than enough water to see us through the summer.
With the wind & rain few anglers ventured out, however a break in the weather on Friday did produce the best sport of the week, Bill Nicholes fished the bank to take 6 fish on buzzers, Barry nelson caught 6 to 3lb4oz, D. Price caught 5 to 3lb4oz while Roy Ensor caught 8 on goldheads.
With the weather as it is I suggest you contact the lodge for an up to date report before you travel.
