Weekly results week ending -10th April 

136 anglers caught 666 fish rod average 4.9

Another very good week on the whole, a few days hampered by strong westerly winds but generally conditions were good.

Plenty of fish on top and more & more buzzers coming off, CDC shuttlecock buzzers, gnats and emerger patterns all very good. A few hawthorn flies starting to show and some large red buzzers. Dry fly anglers doing best fishing with their backs to the wind and casting to the ripple edge. Wind direction has been varied so no particular best area.

Some good fish out this week including a rainbow of 13Ib 4oz to Nick Halstead from Dewsbury and a 12Ib 3oz fish to Ernie Clark from Laneham, 84 year old Toft veteran took his fish on a floating line and montana nymph fished from a boat.
