Most fish are still being caught in the 3 - 4 foot range. The water is still cold and only a few fish are moving on the surface. The season is at least two weeks behind normal but the fish are at least taking buzzers well now, size 12 black or olive buzzers fished under an indicator or straight line at around 4 foot proving best.
Boat and bank fishing is equally good. Peterborough anglers Nigel Wells and Peter Shaw shared a boat on Wednesday and anchored 60 yds off the dam. They landed 57 fish between them, all taken on buzzers.
