Lures are still catching some fish, especially on windy days. However nymph fishing is now taking the bigger catches particularly from lunchtime onwards.
Just a few fish are starting to show on the surface but generally fish are being caught fishing slow at around midwater.
Settled milder weather will see the buzzer hatch really get started.
Some fish have finally moved out into more open water so boats are also enjoying good sport now.
