A testing weeks fishing has been had at Foremark with plenty of fish showing and following but putting them in the net has been harder than it looks, The rod average for the week was 2.1 with a lot of anglers finding the fishing hard.

Phil Pinder was the top man this week taking 7 fish and missing a few on small Klinkhammers on fine leader.  Phil said he was getting alot of action to Daddies to start with but the fish were coming short, As soon as i put on small Klinks and sat them in the water i was catching no problem.

Mark Gatley had a good bag of 6 fish fishing over on the Ticnall bank from the boat.  With the fish being high in the water anything from a Floater to a Di3 fly line should be in the catching Zone as the fish have been taking a variety of flies.

Dry Flies like CDC's, Klinkhammers, Daddies and Sedge Hogs have been taking most of the fish.

Another stocking is going in this week so hopefully they will stir up the residents, the weather will stay cool and bring us a couple of really windy days to refresh the water and turn the fish on the fry.

Best areas from the boats have still been down the Ticknall bank all the way to the nature reserve and around the main Basin,  Bank spots have been off the two Jetties, Sailing club bay, Verdun's and the Ticknall bank from Bush Bay to the Cascade.

Tight Lines
Phil Dixon.
