Variable weather led to patchy fishing. On hot days the boat anglers did best anchored down the middle over the deeper water. Some anglers caught targetting the rising fish with dry damsels or boobies/muddlers pulled across the surface. Other good methods for boat anglers were washing line with a black or orange booby on the point with diawl bachs or buzzers on the dropper or a fast intermediate with a damsel on the point and orange blob on dropper.
Bank anglers are still doing better than usual for the time of year. Weedcutting is keeping most areas fishable. Best methods from the bank have been floating line and washing line or the bung with a buzzer at 12-18inches.
