What a week anglers have had. With 500 kilos of big fish stocked this week anglers have had a terriific few days.

152 anglers caught around 900 trout with a rod average of 6 fpa. With 26 fish over the magical 10lb mark in the last 3 days alone!!!
 
Best Fish was caught and returned by Paul Gregory Telford using a beaded bloodworm pattern he netted a super Rainbow of 16lb 4oz on the Meadow Lake.
 
Graham Turner Wolves returned the best Brown at 14lb 8oz he used a size 14 Daiwl Bach on Lakemoor.
 
Best methods have been small nymphs fished on floating lines and just left to drift round naturally.
 
Our Troutmasters fish off is on Feb 25th,  We have also been asked to hold Dearnford Halls fish off on the same day, So any angler who has not already booked in should ring the fishery so we know the final numbers.
