Anglers have had some great top of the water sport over the last few days. The cooler than average temperature has kept the fish active and feeding throughout the day and evening. Damsels are the main food source during the day. During the evening rise both buzzer and sedge immitations are working. Localised hatches of caenis have made some evenings difficult. Plenty of weedcutting was done last week which has improved bank access.
