Report for week ended 29th June 2008.
A better weeks fishing than of late though still a bit variable. Best patterns have been the buzzer, olive hopper, CDC Emergers, Cats Whisker and black fritz lure. A small bloodworm has also done very well on the lower lake. Only one double again though several have been lost off. One angler brought in the scale that was left on his hook - it was larger than my thumbnail - but I had to point out that the scale itself wasn't enough and unfortunately wouldn't count!!

Mr L Thompson from Penrith was the only angler to actually land a double. It weighed in at 13lb 15oz and was caught on a Cats Whisker.
Please remember that the fishery and tackle shop are closed until July 17th although the web site will at times be available during that period.
Thankyou,
Dave & Sandra
