Best bank areas: East Creek through to Normanton Church
Best methods: Fry patterns, Minkies, Gold and Silver Sparklers, Black and Green Tadpoles, Booby Minkies.

Boat anglers are finishing the season on a superb high recording an exceptional rod average of 4.42 for the week. A large proportion of these quality rainbows weighed between 3 and 5lb. Laurence Thompson of Spalding took the best fish of the week - a super rainbow for 5lb 8oz. The final day for boats on the water this season is Saturday 25 November.

The Main Basin has seen most of the action with fish still showing on the surface at the start of the day, with things quietening down by late afternoon. Bank anglers are enjoying sport between East Creek and the Fishing Lodge through to Normanton Church.

Prospects look very good. Fish are slowly but surely coming into the bank. However, there are 20 boats available for anglers through till Saturday 25 November. Please call the Lodge on 01780 686441 for further details.

The Fur and Feather bank match is less than two weeks away on Sunday 3 December with super hampers to be won.  Please book in advance at the Fishing Lodge  - includes fishing permit, meal and entry fee - £25 for day permit anglers and £13 for season ticket holders.  Bring along a prize such as a bottle of wine, chocolates, beer etc for the raffle.

The tackle shop continues its sale until Saturday 2 December.  Many items are reduced by 20% with 40% off some fly rods and clothing.
Shop hours are 8am -  2.30pm until 25 November; 9am – 3.30pm from 26 November
